The Role
We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer, who will join the Koenigsegg electronics design team and be part of the development of Koenigsegg’s advanced electronic system platforms. You must have a genuine passion for engineering the best vehicles in the world & enjoy working in a fast-paced, fast-growing, yet entrepreneurial company.
Koenigsegg is leading the way in the hypercar business and this must excite you. You’ll be working alongside accomplished, world-renowned engineers on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.
Responsibilities
Taking responsibility from start to finish when it comes to development of Koenigsegg advanced electronic systems (ECUs)
Electronics design; Schematic, component sizing, performance calculation, simulation etc.
Test & validation, hands-on troubleshooting on bench & in-vehicle, EMC Validation.
Understanding, adopting & refining best design practices & development of design guidelines.
Cooperate with other departments i.e. Mechanical Engineers for ECU packaging, Electrical department for harness design etc.
Requirements
English on a full professional proficiency level (Swedish is not a requirement).
Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience within the automotive industry.
Knowledge & documented experience in hands-on design of schematics & PCB layout.
Proficient with tools as scopes, network analyzers, etc.
Experience in design for automotive environments with relevant safety requirements.
Experience with automotive system architecture.
Experience in design for EMC optimization.
Experience in design of analogue circuitry.
Knowledge in control theory & diagnostics.
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
