This is a recruitment to SHL Healthcare AB in Nacka / Stockholm.

Welcome to apply for an exciting Electronics Design Engineer position at a successful Medical Device company. SHL Healthcare headquarters is beautifully located in Nacka and has its production in Shenzhen, China.

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will work on new technologies and platform designs and evaluate these technologies for implementation in customer products. You belong to the R&D department.

We are looking for you who have previous experience from design of advanced electronics and embedded systems and preferably are well versed in medical technology products with regulatory requirements.

You will spend time on HW design, programming, and verification, integrating subsystems with electro-pneumatic components such as compressors, fans, valves, sensors and RF devices into medical devices.

You will also monitor new technologies, assisting in customer complaints, writing test-instructions and mentoring other Electronics Engineers.

In Stockholm, you have your closest colleagues, other employees are today in China. When the opportunity arises, you will gladly go there and collaborate on site with your fellow engineers.

The office in Nacka is characterized by niceness, openness, joy, curiosity, a familiar atmosphere and not least a team with great competence in their product area.

Your background:
The successful candidate holds a relevant academic education and preferably up to 10 years of experience as a designer.

You have worked with real time operating systems such as FPGA Development, VHDL programming and ASICs design.

Very meritorious with experience from Medical Technology products.

You have solid experience of the tools that SHL provides, such as Altium CAD and PDM and use your knowledge to analyze and develop new products and suitable engineering solutions. The position requires good English in speech & writing.
