Are you a dedicated Electronics & Electrical Hardware Engineer who want to be part of develop active and semi active suspension systems in the forefront of the industry? Then you should join our team at Wheel Suspension, we can offer you highly motivated and competent colleagues as well as interesting and challenging technology! Together we develop active and semi active suspension systems such as Continuously Controlled Dampers, Air Suspension and future system under development in the area of body control. This not only for internal use but also for external partners.
What you’ll do
Your main task will be component and system development within electrical hardware but in close collaboration with our software and functions developers as we do the majority of this development inhouse. This includes leading our ECU development, where we do our own design, together with our supplier. For most other electrical components, we rely on full-service suppliers where your role will be to secure electrical specifications and design to match VCC system requirements and functionality.
You will take an overall responsibility to manage component and system specifications, coordinate prototypes, follow implementation and ensure that we fulfil ISO standards as well as that we meet targets of time, technology quality and cost. You will also follow up the work by support analyses of field quality issues and suggest corrective actions.
Last but not least, you will get the chance to contribute to our long-term architecture strategi by providing technical expertise.
Competence is important
We see that you have at least a BSc in Electrical & Electronics engineering or Mechatronics. You have solid experience in electronics & electrical hardware design and development, system development and from electronics development on circuit board level.
If you have knowledge in ISO 16750, EMC, high voltage or automotive & chassis systems it is beneficial.
Personality is key
We are looking for you who share our passion about cars and new technology! You are a team player comfortable driving results and taking own initiate when needed. We have a target to grow in your area of expertise and therefore we will rely on you to share knowledge and help other team members to thrive.
