Reference number: 412[ JOB DESCRIPTION The Electronics Team is looking for an Electronics Engineer with a genuine interest in electronic design.You will participate in product development projects and your primary tasks will be to:[[ * Perform feasibility studies of the electronic design * Evaluate and select suitable components[ * Estimate and optimize COGS * Create electronic design schematics (using PADS Logic) * Support our EMS partners with prototype production * Perform tests and verifications of the electronic design * Handle regulatory approvals (EMC and safety) * Create production documentation[ The electronic design will be done in close cooperation with PCB CAD engineers and mechanical engineers in order to create an optimal hardware design and high quality product.You will also work together with the Operations department, assisting in production start up and optimization work as well as handle contacts with component distributors, subcontractors and manufacturers.[ You will thus be responsible for the electronics design in the project from start to finish.[ The position involves limited traveling.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for an engineer with at least a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and a genuine interest in electronic design.You have previous experience from working in schematic capture programs and have knowledge in EMC and appropriate standards.Experience from product development targeted for volume production will be considered as a plus.We believe that you are a highly motivated and outgoing person with good communication skills in both English and Swedish.You are also able to work efficiently both individually with limited supervision as well as within a team of other highly skilled engineers.THE ELECTRONICS TEAM The Electronics Team is part of the Electronics and Mechanics department.Together with PCB CAD and mechanical engineering teams we are responsible for the design and development of the complete hardware in Axis products.We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future products.The department is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products.We also work in close cooperation with units responsible for e.g.production, logistics, quality, support and product management.WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU This is a great opportunity to use and develop your skills in electronic design as part of an exciting, successful organization that is already the world leader in network video.As Electronics Engineer you will have a great chance for development in an organization that values creativity and promotes individual growth.We welcome your application and look forward to the possibility of you joining us!READY TO ACT?Axis is a company realizing the benefits of a diverse workforce.We know that diversity in groups creates a better working environment and promotes creativity, something that is fundamental for our success.
