About the position
Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for an Electronics Engineer to our Powertrain & Chassis (P&C) business segment to be positioned in our Technical Center in Mullsjö, Sweden.
As an Electronics Engineer you will be part of a team working with development of electronics and mechanics for embedded automotive systems such as shift-by-wire systems and actuators towards major car- and truck brands. You will have an important role in the development projects, working closely with engineers from all other disciplines, e.g., system, software, and mechanics. The work will involve close contact with colleagues, customers and suppliers worldwide.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
To develop an efficient and skilled production organization to have a clear assignment of responsibilities and duties
In co-operation with the Plant Management develop rolling forecast, investment plans and production forecasts to be followed up and to balance short-term profit against long-term objectives
Monitoring performance metrics and supporting Quality initiatives
Drive continuous process improvement to increase safety, quality and operations performance through implementation of Lean Principles
Building and maintaining productive employee relationships, driving employee satisfaction
Full accountability and ownership of your team’s development, trusting employee relations, projects follow up, execution of targets
To ensure the compliance of the quality system through clearly defined assignments of responsibilities and duties
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of practical and relevant manufacturing experience within the automotive industry
A proven understanding of Lean tools and techniques and their implementation to improve performance
Demonstrated experience in Swedish Health and Safety legislation
Excellent organization and leadership skills
A strong, clear communication style, excellent motivational techniques and a collaborative approach to delivering objectives
Experience in union negotiations
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Proficiency in the use of both Swedish and English language in reading, writing and speaking
