Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for an Electronics Engineer who would like to be part of the future development of our products. We are aiming to constantly be in the forefront of our product areas.
The position is based at Kongsberg Automotive
Technical Centre in Mullsjö, Sweden.
What will you do?
You will have an important role in the development projects, working closely with engineers from all other disciplines, e.g., system, software, and mechanics. The work will involve close contact with colleagues, customers, and suppliers worldwide.
You will be part of different projects aiming to develop, improve and renew our products.
What will you be responsible for?
Requirement driven development and testing (IBM Jazz used at KA)
Component selection, schematic design, and PCB layout (Altium used at KA)
Circuit design simulation
Worst case circuit analysis
Failure modes, effects, and diagnostics analysis (SOX used at KA)
Laboratory work and troubleshooting
Cooperation with EMS suppliers
Cooperate with the other engineering disciplines regarding planning, reviews, design support etc.

Who are you?
MSc/BSc of Engineering, degree in Electronic Engineering is preferred
Minimum 5 years of hardware development experience
Knowledge about EMC/EMI design and testing
Experience in circuit design simulation
Experience of design for harsh environments
Fluent in English, verbal and written
Experience from the automotive industry is an advantage
