Electronics Engineer

We develop eye tracking technology aiming to improve human-machine interaction. The applications are found in a wide variety of areas such as:
VR/AR headsets, where eye tracking improves headset performance as well as user experience
Gaming, where our platforms provide an improved and immersive experience
Automotive, where Tobii's DMS system help save lives in traffic
Education, where eye trackers are used to assess literacy and to monitor levels of distraction
Assistive technology that enables hands free computer interaction for people with communication disabilities
Research to understand human behavior, attention, and intention

As our Electronics Engineer, you will be part of product development projects. You will design and verify PCBA’s, you will have a lot of both internal and external interfaces – collaborating with customers, mechanics, firmware, production, suppliers, test labs etc.
Role and Responsibilities
As Electronics Engineer at Tobii you will work with new product and system design, component selection, customer integration, maintenance and support of released products. Work hands-on in our labs, prototyping, designing for tests, performing certification and documentation (we’re working with Jira, Confluence and PDM).
We’re looking for someone that has a sharp mind and a curious, flexible, and communicative mindset. Being an electronics engineer requires many aspects of informal leadership. Self-direction, combined with handling crises well and great people skills are key success factors in this role.
You will be part of our mechatronics team of 10 people. This team is very close and has a great team spirit. We are experts in what we do and have a lot of responsibility but still always take time to help each other out when needed.
To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:
Master in Electronics or similar
5 years of work experience
Communicate well in English.
Experience of Altium Designer
(Preferred) Experience working with cameras, illuminators, power, radio, EMC, USB
