We are looking for an Electronic Engineer at the Lear site in Mullsjö. The position will be based at Lear Technical Center in Mullsjö, Sweden and you will report directly to Sales Manager in Mullsjö.
Role description
For this role you will be working with pre-bid and development phases of new projects liaise with major OEM’s on new projects to understand their electrical interface and specification requirements. To be an active member of the Customer Focus team, being responsible for the electronic system engineering. Lead the electronics Hardware and software engineers to ensure the timely introduction of new projects that achieve customer requirements, budget, and timing.
Some key competence for this role:
Fundamental electronics experience.
Familiar with operating and configuring using automotive CAN or LIN bus.
Good communicator, interfacing to supplier, manufacturing, mechanics, and program management
Other competence we are looking for this role:
Familiar with automotive validation requirements (environmental and EMC)
Review and negotiate customer requirements. Support CER phase and with cost calculations. Technical interface to customer for electronics. System Requirements management.
Customer and internal technical documentation and presentations. Design that the electronics integrates with the complete system and that the mechatronics design is optimized
Lead the internal hardware and software engineers. Manage and prioritize the electronics open issues.
Support the project team and plant team to successfully launch the program.
Support purchase with PCB manufacturing quotes and design for manufacture. Support cost saving opportunities and supplier changes.
Manage the Electronics validation of the complete Lear TCS system to the electrical and environmental requirements.
Manage PCBA drawing updates, version control and ECN process in a structured way.
Work on the PCBA and System EOL test specifications.
Candidate profile
We are looking for you with a Bachelor Engineering within Electronics. You need to be familiar with automotive validation requirements (environmental and EMC). We want you to have the knowledge to review and negotiate customer requirements, support CER phase and with cost calculations. Technical interface to customer for electronics. System Requirements management.
We may also consider other qualifications, which are supported by strong relevant experience in this field. Practical electronics skills (CANoe, Oscilloscope, soldering, building prototypes). Knowledge of designing and testing for EMC. Automotive APQP experience.
