Arbetsbeskrivning
We are looking for someone who has a passion for electronics and a genuine desire to understand how things work. You need to have a deep interest in technology, preferably engage in personal hobby projects, and enjoy problem-solving.
Who are we?
Plejd is a rapidly growing Swedish tech company that develops products and services for smart lighting and home automation. We are dedicated to simplifying the electrician's everyday life by creating products and services that harness new technology in the right way. Today, we are a leading player in smart lighting control in Sweden.
We are an in-house full-stack company with a diverse mix of individuals in production, automation, electronics, mechanics, embedded systems, app development, and cloud/backend development.
In addition, we have a fully equipped prototype workshop, a complete electronics lab, and our own factory for mass production of electronics, all under one roof. We believe that this kind of broad integration provides our colleagues with a better ability to comprehend the entire value chain and fosters efficient development cycles.
The Position
The Automation team at Plejd not only ensures that products can be manufactured but also that everything produced works exactly as intended. Test stations are a crucial cornerstone of our production, and through them, we collect all conceivable data to continuously ensure the quality of our products. This is where you come in!
In this role, you will, among other things:
- Read circuit diagrams on products to understand how they function.
- Design your own circuit boards for the testing equipment.
- Code embedded systems for the testing equipment and then write scripts to control the testing equipment.
- And play around in our fully equipped workshop
The role involves understanding what needs to be tested, how to test it, and then being involved in developing the equipment for it. The role is diverse, and you will work closely with many teams to follow the product's development
Who Are You?
To make this role a good fit, we believe that when you see a device, you instinctively want to take it apart to understand how it functions and identify the MCU inside it.
You have likely completed some form of engineering education at a university or from YH high school.
Ideally, you are a code-agnostic individual who appreciates the beauty of all languages and is willing to explore new ones when the opportunity arises. However, you can write C/C++ code fluently.
It is also beneficial if you have basic knowledge of an ECAD program such as Altium or KiCad.
We use both Swedish and English on a daily basis, so it is also a requirement that you are fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.
Does it sound interesting? Submit your application as soon as possible.
