Electronics Engineer - Electronics Team

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Axis is looking for an Electronics Engineer with at least a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering, 3 to 5 years experience in electronic design and with a genuine interest in electronics.You have previous experience from working in schematic capture programs, preferably PADS Logic and have knowledge in EMC and appropriate standards.You are outgoing, have good communication skills in English and Swedish and have an ability to work independently. THE ELECTRONICS AND MECHANICS UNIT The unit is responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products, including electronics, PCB CAD and mechanical CAD.The team is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products.We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future products.We also work in close cooperation with Operations and Product Management.JOB DESCRIPTION As Electronics Engineer your primary task will be to work with the electronics design in our products.You will also do test and verification of the electronic design and create production documentation.You will work in close cooperation with the Operations department assisting in production start up and optimization work.Your work will also involve keeping contact with component distributors, subcontractors and manufacturers in order to insure the quality and goals we are working towards.The position involves limited traveling.WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU This is a great opportunity to use and develop your skills in electronic design as part of an exciting, successful and rapidly growing organization that is already the world leader in network video.As Electronics Engineer you will have a great chance for development in an organization that values creativity and promotes individual growth.We welcome your application and look forward to the possibility of you joining us!
