WHAT WILL YOU DO?
In this role you will focus on product maintenance within our Electronics Team and your main tasks will be to continuously improve and optimize our high-volume products from a performance and/or production cost perspective.

As an Electronics Engineer in this team your tasks will include analysis of products and components as well as re-design of the electronics in existing products. Your tasks will span a wide range of different products, designs, characteristics and requirements hence an open minded and flexible approach to electronics design is very important.

Product maintenance is a small but growing organization within the Electronics Team and you will be a key player alsoin developing processes and methods for high volume management of our full portfolio of products.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We expect you to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering and a genuine interest in electronic design. You have previous experience from working in schematic capture programs and have knowledge in EMC and appropriate standards. Experience from product development targeted for volume production will be considered as a plus.

We believe that you are a highly motivated and outgoing person with good communication skills in both English and Swedish. You are also able to work efficiently both individually with limited supervision as well as within a team of other highly skilled engineers.

THE ELECTRONICS F&M TEAM
The Electronics F&M team is part of the Electronics and Mechanics department. Together with PCB CAD and mechanical engineering teams we are responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products. We act as a knowledge center in this area and collaborate with other departments within R&D to develop our future products. The department is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products. We also work in close cooperation with units responsible for e.g. production, logistics, quality, support and product management.
