Role overview

We are looking for an experienced electronic engineer to work with state-of-the-art LED fixture and control system product development. This person will be part of the product and technology team located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The role is for a jack-of-all-trades electronic engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Participate and lead electronic hardware design projects from concept to production including circuit design, schematic entry, PCB layout design, transfer-to-manufacturing, testing, and documentation
• Ensure that the certification and verification processes run smoothly with designs that will comply with market standards (CE, UL&CSA, SAA and PSE)
• Develop advanced electronic solutions to product requirements fitting both the LED lighting system and the wireless control system
• Be part of the development team and ensure projects to deliver on time

Skills and Qualifications

• Master’s of Science (preferable) or Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficient with industry standard PCB design tool Altium
• Electronic quality and safety design – design for compliance experience
• Background in development of microprocessor-controlled hardware
• LED product development work experience is meritorious
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts and designs to colleagues across disciplines
• Experience managing vendors locally and abroad
• Able to work independently
• Good interpersonal & organizational skills
• Good written & spoken English communication skills
