Candela Speedboat leder transformationen mot eldrivna båtar. Genom att kombinera bärplan med kolfiber och en helt elektrisk drivlina, når vi både hastighet och räckvidd som är jämförbar med bensin- och dieselbåtar. Dessutom är båten nästan helt tyst och går bättre än någon annan båt i höga vågor.

Vi tillverkar vår båt ”Candela Seven” i våra lokaler i Gåshaga, Lidingö. Då Candela växer söker vi nu en elektriker till vårt team.

Dina främsta arbetsuppgifter inkluderar:

- Arbeta i elverkstaden med förmontering av inbyggda elektriska komponenter.
- Arbeta i båtarna med installation av elektriska komponenter och kablar.
- Bli mästare på det kompletta elsystemet som tillhör de mest avancerade serietillverkade fritidsbåtar idag som innehåller egenutvecklad elektronik, högspänningsdrev och olika flygkontrollsensorer.
- Driva kontinuerliga förbättringsaktiviteter i kvalitet, cykeltider, kostnadsminskning och processförbättring.


Erfarenhet och kompetens:

- Du har gedigen erfarenhet och kunskap i att arbeta med ett brett spektrum av elektriska system.
- Du är van att använda och förstå elektriska scheman.
- Du har erfarenhet eller åtminstone ett stort intresse för EV-system.
- Du har förmågan att hålla dig noggrann och fokuserad även i en hög arbetsmiljö.
- Du är stolt över ditt arbete genom att vara organiserad och välstrukturerad.
- Du är en problemlösare och har förmågan att prioritera arbete och hantera flera uppgifter.


Arbetsspråk är engelska.

ENGLISH

Candela Speed Boat is the world’s first all-electric hydrofoil speedboat. By combining hydrofoils with carbon composites and an all-electric drive train, we reach speed and range equal to combustion engine boats. Add to that an almost silent ride and unmatched smoothness in high waves. That is achieved by combining the most advanced concepts of material science, hydrodynamics and system control theory.

It’s an exciting time to work in Candela. After five years of intense R&D we are delivering beautiful boats with the elusive combination of both speed and range - all-electric - thanks to our ingenious hydrofoil design. We are incredibly excited of the potential of our technology in the coming years and with an increasing customer demand, we are now scaling up production. For that effort we want to recruit a number of passionate and talented team members.

You will:

- Work in the electrical workshop with pre-assembly of in-house designed electrical components.
- Work in the boats with installation of electrical components and cables.
- Become a master of the complete electrical system belonging to the most advanced serial produced leisure boats today containing in-house designed electronics, high-voltage drive-train, and a various flight control sensors.
- Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvement.


To be successful in the role:

- You have quite a lot of experience and knowledge in working with a wide range of electrical systems.
- You are used to using and understanding electrical schematics.
- You have experience or at least a strong interest in EV systems.
- You have the ability to stay thorough and focused even in a high paced work environment.
- You take pride in your work by being organised and well structured.
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks.
- You enjoy interacting with people with a wide range of backgrounds and experience and have the ability to motivate and achieve results through others.
- You think the product we are developing and producing is really cool.


We are currently approx 40 people based in our Gåshaga facility on Lidingö, growing fast. As a team we are very diverse, covering 11 nationalities and specialties ranging from electronics design to composite lamination. We love what we do and we are 100% focused, but at the same time conscious about finding an acceptable balance with our lives outside Candela. And being good to each other is key - work is hard AND fun.

Working language is English.
