Internationella Engelska Skolan Upplands Väsby was established in August 2020, and is one of the few IES schools that hold the year groups F-8 ( Year 9 from 2022 August). We have 544 students at IES Upplands Väsby, with both pupils and staff from all over the world, resulting in an exciting  and culturally diverse learning environment. We are located circa 20min from Stockholm city, a vibrant and exciting hub.

 We strongly promote the IES ethos of tough love, academic excellence and commanding the English language in a calm and active learning environment. To do this we promote our values of being positive using grit and determination in all we do. The school has a Listen, Learn, Lead approach to quality and development within our school. 

We are now looking for a Student assistant to be part of our exciting journey in the future development of IES Upplands Väsby.

The assignment involves being a support for an individual student. In collaboration with responsible teachers and our Student Care and Special Education team you will be supporting the student in the daily activities. You will be following the student's action plan and maintain good and continuous communication with the student's teachers and guardians.

We would like you to have a qualification in socialpedagog. Previous experience in the form of a treatment assistant is highly meritorious as knowledge of how to work with outspoken students is of the utmost importance. Knowledge of NPF/ Autism / ADHD, and low-affective treatment is a requirement.
