Elkraftsingenjör/Electrical engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate electrical power engineer who wants to be part of our journey to contribute to a greener future. The role is part of our maintenance department based in Skellefteå. You will be a key player in building, maintaining and developing Northvolt's factory in Skellefteå and contribute to building one of the first large-scale European battery factories.
About the service
You will work closely with your colleagues in the maintenance department to develop, implement and maintain Northvolt's electricity grid. Your role is to maintain a high-quality power grid and make improvements in the factory. You will work in close collaboration with the maintenance department, the production department and the design department.
Team:
The maintenance team at Northvolt Ett is currently more than 100 colleagues with expertise in electrical, mechanical, automation and much more. The maintenance team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance but will also be very involved in starting production.
Your duties will include:
- Perform selectivity plans, short-circuit calculations, relay protection calculations and implement these in the plant.
- Planning of maintenance, inspections, inspections and fault correction.
- Investigations, analyses and evaluations of various technical solutions in the field of electric power.
- Be a resource when planning for the expansion of existing facilities and of new facilities.
- Works with long-term planning and development of future investment needs

Qualifications
- Post-secondary electrical power education or equivalent work experience in electric power plants 0.4kV-150kV.
- Experience in designing electric power systems to meet high availability and ease of access from an operation and maintenance perspective.
- Good oral and written proficiency in Swedish and English
- At least 5 years of work experience in electric power in industry or similar.
Bonus points for:
- Experience in low, medium and high voltage in switchgear, motor drives, drive systems and electrical design
- Experience with load calculation and simulation programs such as ETAP, SKM Powertools, Dlgsilent, ERACS, EDSA, Neplan etc.
- Experience of network analysis and harmonic calculations – e.g. Dranetz, Fluke, Flir, etc.
