Direct Customer Billing & Collection is a part of our Commercial Cluster in the Digital Finance area, responsible for enabling a bright future at Volvo Cars through digital innovation within the finance area. Our mission is to make users fall in love with paying their invoices. As one of our new Engineering Managers you will guide one of our SAP product teams, Direct Customer Billing & Collection, currently engaged in agile product development and operations focusing on supporting and managing the financial aspects of Care by Volvo, direct online sales and other future products. 

You can be based in one of our offices in Gothenburg or Stockholm.

What you’ll do: 
* You will lead and grow a team of hardworking SAP engineers through hiring, mentoring, inspiring and feedback. 
* You will ensure, through streamlined execution and experimentation, that our solutions meet the needs of our customers quickly and accurately. 
* You will be the voice of engineering in the Product team through a friendly and effective collaboration with your product counterpart. 
* You will ensure the solutions are scalable, sustainable, architecturally sound, and that technical debt is both incurred consciously and repaid in a reasonable time. 
* You will be an active member of the cluster engineering leadership team and collaborate with other leaders across the organization.


Do you fit the profile?
* We believe that you have experience of working with SAP, and it is meritorious if you have worked with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC. 
* You love to lead, develop, inspire and grow an engineering team, and have previous experience doing so; you are probably a technical manager today and you know what it takes to build a phenomenal team. 
* You are very knowledgeable and passionate about modern software development that builds products our customers love. 
* You are passionate about digital technologies and willing to work hands-on to try new technologies. 
* You are good at leveraging vendor capability for the team’s delivery.
* Experience with business processes around billing, invoicing and collection is a plus.
