About the role
As an Email Deliverability Specialist, you are responsible for assisting product development, customer support and onboarding teams with expertise in email deliverability matters.
You are also responsible for setting the correct foundation for our new customers to ensure they have proper information and knowledge required to optimize their email deliverability. For this part, you will be working closely with onboarding team and guide our customers through a solid ramp-up phase.
You will join the business area Customer Services, and report directly to Head of Customer Success.
Your responsibilities
- Assist in developing improvement plans for our customers based on established best practices for email deliverability
- Inform our customers about relevant tools and information to understand and measure deliverability health
- Provide our customers with knowledge about list hygiene, email deliverability best practices, IP and domain warming strategy, and optimal email deployments
- Address behaviors that may pose a risk to our email platform
- Support our business areas internally with information and training

You have worked in the field of email deliverability, preferably in an email deliverability team or similar, for at least one year and have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field, or work experience that demonstrates comparable abilities
- Work experience in an analytic, data driven email deliverability role
- Understanding of the concept “email as a marketing tool”
- Experience monitoring or reporting on campaign-level email marketing data
- Understanding of email servers, and experience with ISP procedures (feedback loops, postmaster pages, etc.)
- Understanding of using data to continuously test, measure, and optimize
- Knowledge of the major ISPs/providers, email marketing in general, anti-spam technologies, and understanding of both the sender- and receiver sides of email
- Fluent in Swedish and English
Nice to have:
- Expertise on authentication protocols (e.g. DKIM, SPF, DMARC, IP addresses) and bounce categorization
- Work experience in or with a CRM-team
- Understanding of global privacy and anti-spam legislation (GDPR, CASL, CAN-SPAM etc.)
- Working knowledge of 3rd party email deliverability tools
- Experience monitoring or reporting on campaign-level email marketing data
- Experience with Validity (formally Return Path, 250ok), Litmus or other equivalent tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts a plus
