Do you want to be involved in setting the strategy for how we are going to work with email strategy for marketing purposes in the Travel Department?

The role as Email & Owned Social Media Specialist is new in the team. We are looking for you who are interested in working with emails, owned social media channels and other channels that can fit within the owned channel category. You’ll contribute to achieving overall business goals by working hands on with the tactical campaigns.

What will you do?
As Email & Owned Social Media Specialist you'll applying a data driven approach, you’ll identify opportunities for growth and relevance for new and existing customer segments. 

- Accountable for defining and driving the strategy for outbound e-mail campaigns and owned social media presence together with Social Media & Outbound Campaigns.
- Responsible for tracking, optimizing and reporting on relevant KPIs for both e-mail and owned social channels (excluding triggered communication and always on), as well as continuously run tests and optimize email campaigns - all in close collaboration with the Analytics team.
- Responsible for maximizing ROI from outbound campaigns across our 18 markets together with the Social Media & Outbound Campaigns
- Responsible for future e-mail partnership with external stake holders.
- Implementation of personalization elements across email marketing campaigns together with the Personalization team
- Working closely with the Customer Journey & Experience team to optimize the overall customer experience consisting of both Triggered (automated/always on) and Non-triggered (campaigns) communication.
- Contribute as a thought-leading, subject matter expert and customer advocate. 

Who you are 
We believe you have previous experience of working with email marketing, content and/or owned social media channels and/or other relevant areas and are familiar with See/Think/Do/Care framework and other relevant tools enabling great customer experiences and performance. You have a strong get-things-done attitude. Working collaboratively in teams, and together achieving great things makes you excited. At the end of the day we are looking for the right person not the right resume.

- Proven extensive experience working with outbound/email campaigns both strategically and operationally.
- Strong understanding of data-driven methodology to improve performance.
- Good understanding of personalization and individualization in digital marketing.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and comfortable communicating with internal colleagues such as marketers, analysts and other stakeholders as well as external partners such as agencies.
- Creative skills and experience of Photoshop or similar image editing tool is a plus.

Nice to have but not essential:
- Experience in the travel industry 
- Been working in a multi-cultural company and in cross-regional marketing 
- Experience from working with cross-channel marketing campaigns 
- Adobe Experience Manager 
- Hootsuite
