To strengthen and support our ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Embedded Automation Engineer – Vertical Batteries, preferably with several years of experience, to join our Factory Automation team. You will be part of the Digital Industries division, the world's leading provider of automation and digitalization products and solutions for industry. We advise our customers on digital transformation and offer comprehensive solutions based on our portfolio of hardware, software, and the latest technology.

The Challenge:
* Providing technical support to customer for the adoption of Siemens products and services, particularly on new production lines and system enhancements
* Developing service specifications based on customer and Siemens requirements
* Execute work schedules with Service Supervisors and Site Service Manager, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
* Perform failure analysis and execute corrective maintenance tasks
* Conducting system-specific customer training
* Participating as a technical expert in sales and planning processes

To Succeed, You Need:
* A degree in automation and/or mechatronics from high school, vocational school, or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as a technician in the field
* Several years of experience with Siemens automation systems (TIA Portal (S71200+S71500), programming in SCL, industrial communication – PROFIBUS/PROFINET), and knowledge of project management and quality processes
* Proficiency in MS Office applications
* Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

Preferred skills:
* WinCC HMI
* WinCC Unified
* Industrial networks TCP/IP + IWLAN
* Communication via OPC UA
* Control of frequency converters & servo applications
* Applications in discrete manufacturing industries
* Programming of fail-safe control systems

The position is located in Skellefteå.
