Embedded Developer Automotive

Arbetsbeskrivning

Are you a skilled embedded developer with experiences from the Automotive industry?

If so, we invite you to work with us at Cybercom in Gothenburg, located on the West coast of Sweden!

What is Gothenburg you ask yourself? Well, actually it’s a city at the heart of Swedish automotive industry with several world-leading brands and subcontractors. The industry is at the fore front in dominating trends of the industry like connected vehicle, electrification and active safety.

About Cybercom

Cybercom in Gothenburg has a long tradition within the Automotive industry domains like body and chassis electronics, powertrain, IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) and connected vehicle. We also take part of the emerging area Active Safety moving into Autonomous Drive ahead, an evolution that will lead to reduced fuel consumption and carbon footprint and requires extended connection to services outside the vehicle. This is well in harmony with Cybercom’s environmental commitment and stretches in to activities within mobility and IoT (Internet of Things).

Hence, we need to strengthen our team with a passionate as well as an outgoing engineer. Join us and find yourself challenged by complex problems in exciting projects at our customer site or in projects conducted in-house by Cybercom.

What are we offering?

There are plenty of highly qualified work tasks such as; development of application software for an ECU, write test code, integrate software modules, verify functionalities in rigs, etc. You might leave the implementation work for a period to act as the spider in the net and take on rolls like ECU owner, software owner or subproject manager, i.e. to lead the work for internal and external stake holders.

With our long tradition and long term relations in the Automotive area, you will have unique possibilities to grow in this area. However, if you are into trying something else after some years as an Automotive consultant, there might be possibilities within our Internet of Things department who helps our clients to connect their products.

Organizations in Sweden in general are well-known for excellent collaboration climate and non-prestigious way of working. Cybercom is not an exemption but has the same open and relaxed culture with inspiring colleagues, many of us originating from other countries - a true multi-cultural company.

Who are you?

You are an innovative engineer with experiences from an auto manufacturer or supplier for some years and have gathered knowledge of development of Autosar application software, test automation and the like. Preferably you also have knowledge of techniques or tools like Visual Studio, CANoe, Python, C, C#, etc but most importantly you are curios and eager to learn new techniques and concepts.

Another thing of importance is the ability to work in team, to communicate with team mates and take on responsibility, since a lot of work is done in an agile context.

Your education corresponds to a B.Sc. or M.Sc.

Fluent English, orally and written, is mandatory. An ambition to learn Swedish is of course a plus and important to better get into and be part of the culture.
