Our team will develop a new CI/CD platform that will enable continuous testing, deployment, monitoring and integration of the software applications on our embedded Electronic Control Units (ECU) of Scania’s rolling fleet which will enable considerable reduction in the time-to-production of the newly developed software.
We are looking for an embedded developer for the team responsible for developing the new CI/CD platform: from the developer’s bench down to Scania’s rolling fleet. Most important is the willingness to learn about new technologies and apply them to our products.
What you will do
You will be part of a new team that will develop a connected CI/CD platform that will enable to continuous testing, integration, and monitoring of newly developed software features on a rolling fleet in real production environments, in parallel and independently to current running software.
As an embedded developer you will develop shadow mode capabilities; develop the software evaluation sandbox aimed to run in parallel and without interference on the fleets connected ECUs. You will work closely with fun, passionate co-workers with different backgrounds.
Your profile
You probably have experience working with developer enablement for cloud-based backend or embedded teams providing end-to-end solutions for making the daily work of managing code and executable software for other developers run as smoothly as possible.
You are comfortable with delivering results through others and find pride and reward in knowing that your contribution comes from making others develop end-customer functionality faster.
• You hold a Master of Science degree (or higher) in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and/or possess corresponding work experience
• Embedded programming, (C/C++), meritorious previous experience with QNX and/or Autosar.
• Experience in CI/CD and Git
• Interest in developing cloud development skills
• Meritorious: Experience in working with cloud development, preferably AWS
• Languages: Fluent in English and Swedish is meritorious
• Above all you love programming and are not afraid to explore new concepts
