Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer who is experienced in Software design, embedded development and testing primarily in C for a real time environment.

What you'll do:
● Work closely with the development team to understand features and define test plans to deliver production grade software/firmware.
● As an Engineer focused on embedded applications testing, you’ll need to consider the software, firmware, and hardware together.
● Work on developing a daemon that runs on gateways under Linux which reports telemetry to Microsoft's IoT solution, Azure IoT.
● Understand software requirements (Functional and Non-functional) to identify test cases for software/firmware features.
● Triage the failure of tests executed in continuous integration and in the field and closely collaborate with the global R&D teams to achieve resolution.
Who you are:
● 5+ years of working experience as an Embedded Software Engineer or in a similar role.
● Have experience with Software Configuration Management systems like Git, Gerrit, Bitbucket and incident tracking tools like Jira.
● Experience in working with complex systems requiring Legacy Management and compatibility challenges.
● Good knowledge of C and .NET is probably the most important thing to be able to take on the role.
● Excellent communication, teamwork skills, inter-personal and Organizational skills.
● Good Knowledge of C/C++, Git, Jenkins, Agile methods such as SAFe, EtherCAT, CAN or similar, IAR Embedded Workbench (EWARM-NW-USR), ARM processors and Medtech or safety-critical products.
