Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Electronics Engineer to work on the design and development of our next-generation medical devices. You will be responsible for developing embedded electronic systems, preparing and performing hardware and firmware verification and secure the manufacturing of the PCBAs.
Key Responsibilities
Design
· Development of embedded systems, driving projects from concept to production. This includes schematic design, performing PCB layout and tracing, compiling and preparing production files for manufacturing.
· Conduct design reviews and offer innovative ideas for improvement.
· Research alternative hardware components to support market trends and product optimization.
Testing
· Prepare prototypes for both internal and external testing, ensuring readiness for feedback and iteration.
· Develop, implement, and manage test cases and tools for both hardware and firmware validation.
· Perform thorough hardware and firmware verification tests with minimal supervision.
· Lead efforts in EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) pre-testing and final testing, ensuring compliance and smooth certification processes. Coordinate and prepare for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) pre-testing and final testing.
· Participate in the design and validation of HW electronics production and end-of-line testing.
Production
· Develop and refine scalable manufacturing processes to support rapid growth.
· Collaborate with PCB/PCBA suppliers to understand their technology offerings and resolve production issues.
Documentation
· Strong skills in documenting designs, and systems for future reference and in compliance with medical device standards.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and collaboration to ensure hardware development and testing meet the highest standards.
In this fast-paced start-up environment, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, autonomous, and able to take the lead on projects, from design to testing, while continuously innovating and problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
· Over 10 years of experience in embedded electronics development, with additional experience in wearable devices being a plus.
· Experience in embedded electronics testing and test automation
· Experience with medical device products and embedded electronics for medical devices, with a strong understanding of relevant standards such as IEC and FDA regulations.
· Experience working in a start-up environment, demonstrating agility, quick problem-solving skills, autonomy, and initiative.
· Holds a Master's degree (M.Sc) or a Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in a relevant field.
