We are looking for a Embedded Engineer to work with our expert Services and Bioprocess R&D team across the world. Do you have a passion for Firmware Development and Design for Service? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you'll do
Develop and implement embedded software applications for use in Life Sciences products starting with the instrumentation for Life Sciences products ·Support the electrical team in component selection and custom-board design
Develop and review trace matrices, test plans and test scripts
Who you are
Qualification / Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's degree in E&E, E&C, or equivalent.
10 to 12 years specific experience in designing and developing embedded systems with good understanding of 8/16/32-bit microprocessor and microcontroller architecture
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to synthesize and document requirements
Strong time management skills and prioritization abilities
·Technology/Project Experience:
Should be able to demonstrate an in-depth technical knowledge of CAN/CAN-bus protocol implementation
Good System Engineering skills
Expertise in USB, serial-over-USB protocol implementation
Skilled in design and development of applications and device drivers for embedded platforms
Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++
Experience in testing firmware
Experience in using standard tools for embedded system development (ICE, emulators, simulators, etc.)
Problem solving skills to assess design alternatives and perform trade offs to determine designs or functionality that best meet needs
Desired Characteristics:
Object-oriented analysis and design using UML
·Have experience of implementing commercial real-time applications
·Have experiences of writing device drivers for any RTOS-based systems
