Embedded Firmware/Software Engineer

INNOPHASE is a rapidly growing ultralow-power wireless semiconductor startup with headquarters located in San Diego, CA. We are developing complete wireless solutions with significantly differentiated power dissipation/performance tradeoffs. Our innovative technology also dramatically improves wireless product flexibility and ease-of-use for product developers. Key Responsibilities
Design and development of embedded firmware/software applications for an ARM based
WiFi/BLE SoC
Establish unit level design, implementation and test strategy
Debug software bugs and provide timely closure
Work with Applications and customers to provide necessary support



Desirable Skills
Prior System on a Chip (SoC) product development experience
Good understanding of either or both WiFi and Bluetooth wireless protocols (MAC/PHY)
Be able to work productively and independently
Familiarity with python
Experience using GIT and Jira tools
Linux OS experience
Team player with a strong sense of urgency to meet product needs on time



Job Requirements
Strong coding skills in C, C++
Experience with ARM or similar embedded SoC development environments
Excellent debug skills
Experience in RTOS principles and concepts, and hands-on experience in any RTOS
Comfortable with configuration management, version control and modern software development flows (e.g., Agile)
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills
Demonstrate initiative to drive technical issues to resolution



3+ years experience required.
MS EE/CS preferred.
