What we are looking for
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Embedded Linux Developer to our embedded team in Lund. You should be familiar with the complete process from hardware prototypes and production tests all the way up to a running Linux platform on multiple targets. In your work you will work closely with the local hardware team as well as the global application teams integrating the new products in our Building Management System (BMS).
The team is also responsible for an RTOS platform used in our low level STM32 and EFR32 based sensors and gateways. Experience in this area opens the possibility to work with both types of product ranges.
You will be responsible to drive all aspects of the Linux platform. In this role, will you be included and responsible of all steps from the bring-up of the first hardware prototype to the release of the products. You should be a team player and a good communicator. You will ensure best practices are followed while being responsive in a dynamic and iterative Agile development setting.
You will have a large degree of freedom on how to evolve the platform and will also be consulted as a Linux expert both internally as well with our partners.
Responsibilities·

• Design, and build efficient, secure, reusable, and reliable code ·
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Help improving code quality, organization, and automatization
Required skills and experiences
• At least 3 years of embedded Linux development
• A good understanding about embedded Linux distributions.
• Strong experience in debugging, profiling, and optimizing code
• Strong experience in C development
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering
• Good verbal and written English and Swedish communication skills.
Desirable knowledge in
• Yocto
• Python
• Linux driver development
• Open source development
• Jenkins
• Git
• Communication protocol development (ip, rs485, i2c, spi)
