Arbetsbeskrivning
Toca Boca captures the spirit of play. We create digital toys that are filled with fun and silliness that kids from any corner of the world can instantly relate to. Everything is designed from their perspective. We celebrate the diversity and quirkiness of their world and give them the freedom to play in ways that only they can dream up.
To be able to create more world-class digital toys, we are now looking for an Embedded QA to join Toca Life World and the broader QA team. You will be embedded in a game team and support your project in identifying areas within its processes where we can implement new ways to catch issues early.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for day-to-day QA tasks in your team, which can include formulating and executing test plans, identifying and escalating high-priority issues, and hosting team tests.
You’ll help your colleagues understand bugs and what our processes are for handling them. You’ll help identify risky areas within your project and flag early to assist in better informed decisions.
Quality is key and you’ll help ensure that quality awareness continues to improve, and introduce new methodologies that suit your projects' needs.
Together with your QA colleagues you’ll grow and learn through knowledge sharing, taking part in each others' ideation sessions and getting together in test sessions to uncover weird bugs or hunt elusive crashes.
Is this you?
You have experience working within the QA field and have an interest in games. You have an understanding of digital product or game development processes and the terminologies that come with it.
You have a proactive and curious approach, and can function autonomously. You seek to learn new tools and processes, and better understand your product's technical setup to proactively raise and manage risks.
You can effectively communicate with different stakeholders, from game programmers to product owners and artists, and act as a spokesperson for the QA craft.
