Embedded Software developer

Job description
Leading societies to a low carbon future, our customer develops and markets mobility solutions that provide the sustainable foundations for the future of transportations.

You will work in a team together with other developers to design software components and implement them, ensuring quality, cost and delivery management on software development activities. 

Responsibilities
•  Contribute to the elaboration of the software specification and  architecture, in collaboration with the software architect
•    Develop and sustain software components
•    Contribute to the software development toolchain and work with the build environment
•    Keep informed of the evolution of technologies through techno watch
•    Apply processes and standards
•    Contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications
•    Degree in computer science
•    Minimum 2-3 years of experience in embedded software development or industrial control systems
•    Professional knowledge of C/C++
•    Experience with agile software development
•    Qt experience is an advantage
•    Knowledge of cyber-security and functional safety is desirable
•    Knowledge of Linux and real-time operating systems is an advantage
•    Railway knowledge/ experience is beneficial
•    As a person you are an excellent team member with good problem-solving skills, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•    Fluent in English
