YOU WILL

Bosch in Lund is our newest site in Sweden and is a R&D center with around 200 engineers. You will be part of one of our eBike-teams who cover a wide range of technology areas such as embedded real-time systems, communication via CAN-bus, Bluetooth, WiFi, Cellular and User Interface on color displays. On our platforms running RTOS or Linux, we implement algorithms including machine learning and interaction with cloud back-end and mobile apps. We help our customers with e.g. bicycle navigation, flexible route planning and effective fitness training, where we connect the customer’s digital environment and open up completely new dimensions of eBiking. Agile working methods are a foundation in our way of working and to deliver larger solutions together with other teams, we use Scrum, Kanban and SAFe Framework. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will work with:

- design, test, integration and debugging of software for products and modules for the Bosch eBike System, mostly working with new development.
- be part of creative and innovative activities for bike computers, connectivity modules and other eBike parts.
- be involved throughout the development process, from hardware evaluation to maintenance mode.
- have close collaboration with developers in your team and other teams, test team and product owners.

YOU ARE

To succeed in this role, you need to be a team player with strong social skills as well as a cross-functional mindset, e.g. software-hardware-test. You have a strong drive, and a “can do” positive attitude. You take ownership of assignments and are keen to deliver on time. Furthermore, you are curious and motivated to continuously learn as well as being keen to share your knowledge with your colleagues. The role also requires experience in:

- software development on embedded systems, we are looking for both junior and senior colleagues.
- C++ programming and in using RTOS (e.g Free RTOS) systems.
- developing efficient code for systems with limited resources e.g. small memory footprint.
- integration and debugging of sub-systems and peripherals.
- agile ways of working.
- Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering, Computer Science or similar.
