Description

The customer is now looking for a Senior Software developer to strengthen the software team. You will work with a small team of highly skilled engineers to develop future control systems from start to finish and maintain existing systems. As you will be involved in all stages of the product lifetime there are great opportunities to strengthen your skills in areas of interest.

Key responsibilities:

- Together with the software team, develop embedded software for current and future control systems
- Interact with other engineering disciplines involved in the development such as mechanics and electronics
- Define software tasks
- Execute software tasks
- Communicate progress
- Contribute to project teams
- Project planning of software tasks
- Reviewing current systems
- Present ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals
- Producing detailed specifications and writing the program codes
- Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live according to test specifications
- Preparation of training manuals for users
- Maintaining the systems once they are up and running


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Experience of modern C++(C++14 and later).
- Microcontrollers, or MCUs.
- Microprocessors
- Software optimizations skills at the System on a Chip (SoC) level.
- Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- Device drivers.
- Agile development processes
- DevOps
- Test automation
