The future is here, and Scania is rapidly adapting to a situation where software is an integral part of our product portfolio. Many new projects are starting where real-time software is critical and expertise in embedded software and control is required. In this challenging environment, there is a need for a specialized team that can provide fast development of new pilots/systems. The team plays a central part in shaping and developing future software for all brands in the Traton group.
In the Special projects team, we deliver fast development of new pilots/systems by setting architecture and requirements for both application and platform.
We are now expanding to be able support more systems across all brands in the Traton group.

Your role
As a software developer/architect, you will be part of an agile team responsible for the predevelopment of our applications and platform. You will work with new and exciting projects, setting the architecture and requirements for both application and platform, and design and implement the software. You will test it using SIL/HIL and release it to our internal customers. A focus of your work will be the modularity of the software because it will be integrated into a large variety of systems.
Your profile
As a person you love being challenged by new situations and complex problems. The domain is technically complex and the systems we work with are key to function, performance, and environmental impact of our products.
You possess a strong background in embedded software design and implementation with C, which is a requirement. Your excellent problem-solving skills distinguish you. Experience with safety and timing-critical architectures, continuous integration, test and simulation-driven development or other methods to enhance development speed and quality would be welcome and meriting.
You like to work in a team, sharing responsibility, offering and accepting help when needed. We believe in strong teams and put pride in succeeding together.
You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
