Embedded Software Engineer

We are now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for our Software team for Fixed Dome, at our HQ in Lund. If you have experienced in embedded development and would like to work for a fast growing and innovative company with a global footprint, than this is the chance you don't want to miss.

Who is your feature team?
You will be part of the team that develops the software for our Fixed Dome Cameras. The team is involved from start to finish when developing the products. All the way from early conceptual work to launch and production. In our projects we collaborate with different competence areas as mechanics, electronics, industrial design, and production technologies to name a few.

What will you do here as Embedded Software Engineer?
As an Embedded Software Engineer at Axis, you will play an essential role in the development of our next-generation network video products. You will work with a team of dedicated engineers to design, develop, and test software for a variety of embedded systems.

Your task will include:

* Be part of our product development of new network cameras.
* Analyze, design and develop new functionality for our upcoming products.
* Troubleshoot and solve issues in the entire software architecture, from Linux drivers to applications.
* Share your knowledge and insights with the team

Who are you?
We are looking for Embedded Software Developers with experience of C, C++ and Rust programming. It's a plus if you have worked a few years as embedded developer in Linux. You probably have an engineering bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, physics, mathematics or equivalent. You are a team player who likes and gets inspired by working with new people from different parts of our organization and embrace agile development methodologies.

The following qualifications would be meriting:

* Analyze and design software solutions.
* Linux system programming, both user space and kernel
* Experience from GDB, Git, Gerrit
* Low level programming and programming of microcontrollers
* AI/Machine Learning/ Deppe Learning
* Experience av the scripts Shell, Phyton, Perl ect.
