What we do at Acconeer
Acconeer is a young company listed on Nasdaq First North developing a 60 GHz/mmW pulsed coherent radar based on research from Lund University. The Acconeer radar sensor combines extremely low power consumption with sub-mm distance estimation accuracy. It opens for detection of micro-motion, objects’ direction estimation, material classification, human breathing measurement and much more, all within a sensor sized 5x5 mm including antennas. Acconeer is located in Lund at Ideon Gateway and we are currently a group of around 40 people with high R&D focus, working closely together over the R&D disciplines - hardware, software and algorithm research and development.


We are looking for a team member to our growing ASIC team!
The ASIC team is now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer that will develop the software closest to the hardware. We think that you have a master´s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar. You will contribute during the whole ASIC development cycle: verification during the design phase, validation when the silicon is back from factory, production test and implementation of the radar control software of our product. You will get a good insight in the details of our radar sensor. Radar experience is not a prerequisite. A curious mind and a willingness to learn and to contribute is of higher importance. Our software is written in C and Python and we work in a Kanban based workflow with continuous integration and delivery. It is valuable if you have knowledge of embedded systems based on ARM Cortex M or RISCV CPU's. You will work with the GNU toolchain, the Python scientific ecosystem, Git, Gerrit and Jenkins. Experience from hardware design and working in the lab is a great plus.
