Thule Group’s product portfolio is growing and there is a steady stream of new development projects. To enable the expansion and in parallel support the R&D organization we need to strengthen our team with an Embedded Software Engineer to our Global Product Development Center in Hillerstorp.

As Embedded Software Engineer you will work with software development on new concepts within electrification and digitalization. You will be a part of all phases in the development lifecycle, from concept and requirements to design, implementation, and validation.

In your role you will support our projects with embedded software development and collaborate with cross functional teams. You will design and implement embedded software, work on new concept development, interface with customers and suppliers and perform software quality activities.

Your profile
You have an academic degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar. In addition to this you have a couple of years’ experience of software development for embedded systems and have high skills in C programming. It is desirable if you have experience from software architecture and design work. Experience with Bluetooth and IoT is also merited.

About our Global Product Development Department
Globally we are over 250 engineers out of the majority is working in our Global Product Development Center in Hillerstorp (Sweden). Our cross functional team consists of highly skilled and motivated members with a well-balanced variety of experiences. We are a truly global company with an international and multi culturally mixed team. We see a great future with continued passion for product development that is so vital for our growth as a company.

In our recently opened Global R&D center in Hillerstorp we have expanded with new offices, landscapes, team rooms and creative areas, but also great prototype areas including cut & sew. In March 2022 we plan for a grand opening of our 3rd big expansion of our world class test center with state of art equipment.
