WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
As an Embedded SW Engineer in Core Platform Internal Chips you will work in an agile team together with highly skilled, friendly and driven engineers that has a burning interest in low level programming. You will also cooperate with other teams and engineers within our Technology department as well as with product departments to realize our internal chips full potential in camera products.


What will you do?
You will join our Core Platform Internal Chips team, that is responsible for the part of the core sw platform that makes sure our internal chips can perform its best in terms of video subsystem performance, image quality, radar processing and power management. This is the foundation for the majority of Axis fantastic camera products. The position is hands-on in a very skilled and technically strong team that values individual growth, teamwork and great spirit.

Experimenting and developing new functionality to enhance our platform portfolio will be part of your daily work. You will work in the core platform with Linux kernel and device drivers in the core runtime environment with focus on the video and radar subsystems. Included in your responsibilities is enabling new product features and mastering complex problems. You will play an important part in optimizing our embedded system performance and of course, you will continue the thrilling development path until we can launch the new competitive products.

Who are we looking for?
Now we are looking for an engineer with excellent programming skills with experience of driver development close to hardware SoC platforms. You have a master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar and strong skills in Linux kernel and device driver frameworks.

You are challenged by, and enjoy, complex bug hunting, optimization and to truly enhance quality in the platforms and products we develop. You are an energetic and dedicated person with a strong personal drive and an ability to work unsupervised.
