OptiCept Technologies has developed methods using pulsed electrical fields and vacuum injection to reduce waste in industries like olive oil, juice, flowers, and plants. The company sell, design, and install our machines, all manufacturing is outsourced. Our head office is in Lund and we have additional offices in Athens, Milan, and Shanghai.

As a Process Engineer, you will be part of developing the various applications of CEPT and VI within the Food and Plant Segments. You will eventually be given responsibility for one or more applications areas. Since we are growing the potential for further promotions is very good.

As a development engineer at Opticept Technologies AB, you will work in a broad role with various projects where you are part of the project from start to finish. The overall objective is to define new software solutions and effectively drive and control the development. Your daily tasks will include work with development and adaptation, you will create test cases, you will contribute with the creation of relevant and concise documentation to increase knowledge in the organization.

Responsibilities  
Design and development of embedded firmware applications for STM32 based MCUs
Establish agile design process
Software Design Implementation and test strategy, Develop DFT
Work close with the hardware team and system Engineers for necessary system support
Software specifications from requirements, Document technical design, Validate system design

Qualifications
To qualify for the role, it is required that you are familiar with several of below areas:
A master’s degree in computer science or equal
4+ years of experience with embedded SoC development environments
Strong coding skills in C, C++
Experience from embedded environments
Excellent debug and trouble shooting skills
Comfortable with configuration management, version control and modern software development flows (e.g., Agile)
Fluency in spoken and written English
Work and residence permit for Sweden valid during 2022 and 2023
Knowledge of setting up a test system

Below are seen as merits
Experience from CAN-open (CANalyzer eller CANoe) or other communication protocols/bus
Experience from control algorithms
Experience from ST stm32cubeide (gcc)
Experience from PLC programming
Comfortable with reading electrical schematics and measuring electrical signals
Agile development
