(Infotainment)
The Role
The Koenigsegg embedded team is responsible for designing and developing software and electronics for the in-vehicle infotainment system, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with a skilled and experienced software engineer with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and further advance the embedded system technologies in our cars.
The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on the infotainment system.
Responsibilities
Architect, develop and implement features that leverage the latest embedded & connected technologies for Koenigsegg infotainment system.
In-depth understanding of Linux, including OS internals (device drivers, IPC, tools, libraries, etc.)
Participate in the assessment of the technical design, feasibility concept, and planning process.
Support debugging and root cause analysis related to the infotainment system.
Support our production and service departments.
Work with a small, agile cross-functional team of hardware engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers.
Participate in the development of our way of working. 
Requirements
Experience in low-level and high-level embedded Linux programming.
Experience developing infotainment feature technologies, such as navigation, voice recognition, media phone, connectivity, or similar technologies.
Proficient in C and C++.
Fluency in English.
Minimum 3 years of relevant, post-graduate, full time, experience.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
High standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.
Experience using common design patterns in the software industry.
Good to have
Experience in device drivers development and integration into automotive based platforms
Experience working with CAN bus protocols.
Experience in troubleshooting automotive electrical systems.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
Experience in writing and shipping customer-facing code.
Experience of version control and build systems.
Experience in hardware design.
Experience in development code that is portable between platform versions.
Ability to work in a multi-tasking and dynamic ever-changing environment.
