Embedded software engineers

We are, on behalf of one of our customers, looking for several Embedded software engineers join their project.

City: Lund / Remote

The client is now looking for software engineers who can be part of our work with Android Automotive. Specifically, there are work packages in the area of HW bring up. The Android HALs and underlying layers are in focus. The major aim is to bring up a demo platform reusing assets and work from projects with similar Qualcomm SoCs.

Required competence

- Solid software experience (+10 years),
- HW bring up and Android Framework knowledge (+5 years),
- Automotive SW industry experience,
- Thorough knowledge about embedded Linux systems and Android.
- Excellent C/C++ and/or Java programming skills.
- Experience of agile development and continuous Integration.
- Experience with tools like GIT, Gerrit, Jira, RTC etc
- Comfortable with working in international teams, distributed all over the world.
- Knowledge about the Android framework is highly valued as well as the HALs.
- Experience of Linux and/or Android systems running on Qualcomm is needed.
- Knowledge of HW bringup is of great value specifically in the area of Audio and displays, but also in Wifi, Bluetooth and GPS.


Wanted competence

- Skills in the area of hypervisors (QNX).
- Knowledge in domains like audio/displays/multimedia/connectivity/GNSS/VHAL.
- Experience from CAN communication, VHAL and Autosar.
