Embedded Software Logistics Helpdesk Engineer

Volvo CE Electrical and Electronic System technology platform is developing Electrical and Electronic Systems for all Volvo CE machines. It is a fast growing technology area today globally organized in 17 departments on 8 different sites in 6 countries.

The ESW (Embedded Software) team is a part of ?Change management & Process development? department that handles major change management initiatives, ESW logistics, overall E&E tools & systems strategy, functional safety process lead, process development lead, configuration management lead and quality support / assurance lead.

The ESW team handles the logistics for processes supporting the release, download and service of embedded software.

We are currently looking for a person to reinforce our ESW team within an area that is growing and exciting. This is a job for the future where there are global activities and international contacts.

Job Description:
-As a member of our team your primary responsibilities will be to:
-Manage ESW process logistic helpdesk cases
-Perform process verification activities and support the Support & Maintenance process leader in process development
-Initiate and drive maintenance activities and projects
-Participate as an ESW Logistics Project Representative in machine and component projects
-Perform process and tools training for Volvo CE personnel

Qualifications:
-Degree or certification in related field or equivalent experience and/or training
-Process and project management, planning, and analytical skills
-Strong drive and interest for improvement and/or quality work
-Holistic view with a business and customer focus
-Good leadership qualities and team-building skills
-Experience with cultural diversity
-Good spoken and written English
-Travel availability, both domestic and abroad

Possessing the following skills are an advantage:
-Additional languages
-Knowledgeable on Volvo Process Management Model
-Knowledge of suppliers to the ESW Process
-Previous knowledge of Global Volvo and Volvo CE ESW Process
-PROSIT+ and MESA/ TSP tool knowledge
