Saab Tactical Electronics AB is a leading supplier of rugged vehicle electronics. We focus on camera systems, computers, displays and switches, as well as handheld electronics for usage in extremely harsh environment. Now we need to strengthen our software group with an embedded SW developer.



Your role

You will be part of an agile team with focus on embedded software development for all our products. The team is responsible for development of new products as well as support and takes part in all steps of the development from design to production.



The main tasks for this role are:

* Develop embedded SW to our products.
* Develop unit tests and test solutions.
* Troubleshooting
* Requirement breakdown on a subsystem level.
* System design documentation.

The role includes working with requirements, product design and verification Working independently with many contact surfaces Lead Technical reviews and monitor the design process Coordinate the work between different Engineering areas such as mechanics, electronics, software and testing



Your profile

We are looking for an embedded SW developer who is a creative team player, committed to develop robust solutions. Experience from development of Ethernet switches, troubleshooting and test is desirable, but other areas of expertise are also very useful for us, since we have a broad spectrum of products. To mention some other desirable areas of expertise; USB, I2C, EDID, BIOS, Linux, Android, MilCAN, OpenCV and Open GL.

What you will be a part of



Saab Tactical Electronics AB develops and supports wearable and vehicle-based advanced electronics for demanding environments on international markets. You will work within the Product Area Communication and Vetronics Solutions, which is responsible for developing, manufacturing and selling computer and video systems for vehicles and handheld soldier systems. Operations include system integration, development of embedded computer systems and customer support in areas such as computer technology, advanced video transmission, displays and sensor integration.
