The Nordic portfolio was further complemented by Wi-Fi technology in 2021.
About the job
It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth and pursue high ambitions with our dedicated colleagues worldwide. The Wi-Fi IC Group is newly established and is looking to recruit talented and experienced Embedded Systems developers. As a member of a HW verification team you will be among the first engineers in the company to develop firmware for pre-silicon FPGAs and prototype ASICs. You will expose and communicate faults in product prototypes that continuously are refined to be Nordic Semiconductor´s first generation of world-leading ultra-low power Wi-Fi device.
Key responsibilities
Analyzing new hardware features from product specification
Developing Embedded C code for new hardware features to refine prototype devices
Designing and developing software verification framework
Designing higher-level HW & electronic boards
Creating RF verification configurations



Qualifications and skills
Bachelor or Master in Computer Science/Electronic Engineering or similar
Preferably experience in low-level, bare metal embedded C programming
Experience with high level electronic design, development and schematic diagrams
Knowledge of Git, Linux, build systems, GNU binutils, GDB and other components of the GCC toolchain
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
