The Antiseptics business area at Mölnlycke is focused on eliminating bacteria that cause healthcare acquired infections.
Mölnlycke is now looking for a new EMEA-APAC Supply Chain and Demand Planner – Antiseptics to join us. This role will preferably be located at either our factory site in Waremme, Belgium or our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. Other locations may be considered.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that sales forecasts, net requirements, and supply plan for the Antiseptics business area are balanced and in-line with the global principles. The position holder needs to ensure that customers’ demands are met by developing a robust short-term and long-term demand plan and a monthly supply plan for the antiseptics business area. The role holder will also plan and manage the supply chain in such way that supports optimization of the global supply chain performance and ensure product availability in-line with applicable targets.
Some of the tasks you will be involved in are:
Develop a robust short-term and long-term demand plan and conduct monthly demand forecast maintenance for Antiseptics. Ensuring it best meet customer demands while driving forecasting improvements by applying best practices, utilising statistical forecasting and enriching the baseline forecast with all relevant input from customers (Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Finance and other relevant functions).
Lead local demand reviews and take an active role in other relevant S&OP (MBM) reviews, including following up to ensure that plans are executed as agreed and in alignment with agreed targets.
Act as expert in interpreting demand data from APAC & EMEA markets and creating various scenarios to identify impacts of demand changes, new product launches, promotions, and phase-in / phase-out.
Ensure proactive, timely and accurate communication to key stakeholders across the value chain to mitigate any risks and facilitate timely decisions as needed.
Proactively identify potential supply risks and define alternative mitigation scenarios (e.g., ‘what if?’).
Define, set and control relevant planning parameters in related systems and applications to achieve system health and business targets.
Ensure delivery performance and product availability while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and optimise costs in-line with targets.
Monitor, analyse and report on key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, e.g., BIAS, PLIX (Planning Index). To support evaluation of results and demand trends. Key areas including order line completion (OLC), order line availability (OLA), back-orders (BO), tied up capital (TUC) to support the monthly S&OP (MBM) cycle.
Have the ability to be creative in order to solve complex supply & demand planning challenges.
Influence decision making in respect of trade-offs within operations, commercial, finance & innovation / technology functions.
Represent supply chain planning to support implementation of new product launches and new market entries to ensure optimal time to market and product availability for product portfolio.

Proven experience:
University degree in supply chain management, operations management, logistics or related field of study, or equivalent working experience
Min 3-5 years related experience and knowledge of consumer product logistics, intercompany stock transfers, forecasting and inventory planning.
Knowledge of operations management, general business administration, and inventory control procedures.
Experience with planning tools (SAP APO- module), transactional tool (SAP MM) and reporting tools (Cognos, MS Excel) preferred.
Excellent level of written & spoken English. Preferably also have a good knowledge of Swedish if positioned in Gothenburg.
Experience in working in an international, multicultural environment.
