Nasdaq is looking to add an Emergency Management Analyst to the Emergency Response and Operational Compliance team within European Market Operations. With this position we offer


The Emergency Response Team is a function responsible for managing and coordinating the business response to major incidents in the European Markets systems. The Emergency Response Team is a task force of managers and senior operational staff that assemble in the case of major incidents.


The Emergency Response and Operational Compliance team is responsible for the Emergency Response Team function and organization, but also business continuity, operational risk and compliance of exchange operations. Here you will be in a team with three colleagues.


Your role and responsibilities


In this position, you will be focusing on business incident management by supporting the Emergency Response Team organization. When the skills and knowledge requirements for acting in the defined roles are met, you are also expected be an active part of the Emergency Response Team. Here you will:


Support the Emergency Response Team (ERT) organization: ensuring the ERT readiness of functions including planning, maintaining routines, education and exercise coordination.


When ready for this responsibility, be an active member of the Emergency Response Team.


Implementing new or updating existing routines due to new requirements or improved procedures


Business Continuity Management within European Market Operations, including scenario analysis, training and exercises on BCP routines and updating BCP documentation.


Performing and ensuring reporting to external and internal parties when requested.


Collaborate with 1st line operational risk, risk incident reporting, following up on actions.


Collaborate with 1st line operational compliance relating to exchange operations.


Ensuring assigned actions in Internal Audit and Compliance reports are closed within due time.


We expect you to have:


High interest in IT, compliance, incident management and business continuity.


3-5 years of experience of IT- or business operations within a bank or a financial institution


Knowledge of or experience in working with financial markets


Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and work in partnership with IT, business operations, compliance officers and legal department


Fluent English language skills both written and spoken, Swedish language is a merit.


It would be great if you:


Knowledge of compliance rules and regulations in financial area


Bachelors degree in IT, technology, business administration or other related fields
