Emission Research Engineer

Would you like to work with investigations on exhaust emissions? AVL Scandinavia PTE has approx 190 employees based in Haninge, Södertälje and Gothenburg. If you would like to work with emission measuring techniques focusing on analyzing exhausts components you are needed in our group. Our group works with emission measurements and research on all kind of vehicles; passenger cars, heavy duty and non-road vehicles. Topics that could be mentioned are emissions from chassis dyno cycles as well as from on road testing and regulated and unregulated emissions from conventional and alternative fuels. You will be working at our Techcenter in Haninge or as resident engineer at customers.

Your Responsibilities:
Recommend suitable analysis based on the problem condition
Execute test and evaluate test results from measurements according to emission legislation
Report (written and oral presentations)
Literature studies
Project leader of emission projects

Your Profile:
University Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent working experience
Experience in emission measurements (gas and particulate analysis) and equipment is qualifying
Knowledge in legislation and requirements for vehicle exhaust emissions is qualifying.
Experience from vehicle industry is desirable
Good communication skills both in English and Swedish
