Scania's Transmission Assembly currently produces gearboxes and axles for Scania's chassis assembly in Zwolle, Angers and Södertälje as well as gearboxes for MAN's chassis assembly in Europe. For us, sustainability is an important issue – both in the technical work around the electrified powertrain of the future, but also in the ambition to be an attractive employer. We have many exciting ongoing projects linked to e-mobility and digitalisation, while many, gender equality and inclusion are high on the agenda.



Now we are scaling up the volumes and launching a new eMobility product every year!

Scania has promised to do its part to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees. About a quarter of global carbon dioxide emissions come from transports. We are aware that we are part of the problem and are determined to be part of the solution as well.

Scania is now ready for the conversion to emission-free vehicles with an plan that ensures that we can launch a new electrified product every year. In order to launch these products, our factory needs to be re-built. Both to manage new electrified products but also to be able to deliver higher volumes.

We are now looking for candidates to join the project team  with the assignment to make this possible!

In the project, you will be part of an exciting journey to create high-volume production here in Södertälje for our new electrified products. The project group is responsible for industrialise new products in our current processes.

The assignment includes several activities as:


• Pre-studies on implementation of new processes
• Managing projects for new tools / equipment
• Managing projects for new production processes

You will belong to a group of 13 employees, both newly graduated and more experienced. The leadership in the group focuses on inclusion and support.

Since the company language is English and you will have International contacts, it is required that you can confidently express yourself in English, both orally and in writing. This also apply for the Swedish language.

Mandatory is a university degree in engineering or similar and meritorious to have at least a couple of years' of work experience, preferably as process engineer.
