Sandvik’s business area Sandvik Materials Technology will be separately listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Exchange on August 31, 2022 under the name Alleima. We are now looking for an Employee engagement and DE&I manager to SMT. Your role will play an important part in delivering on the people strategy supporting the business strategy. You will work in a team with a high engagement and a positive atmosphere.

Job Summary
In this role you drive, lead and coordinate two important parts of the PeopleStrategy – employee engagement and diversity, equality and inclusion. By collaborating, building cross-functional relations, and switching between a holistic view and hands-on approach you make it happen together with colleagues within and outside of HR.
Keeping up with market trends and best practices in your area is important. You share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels – while continuously driving improvements and responding to changing business needs. You collaborate with other functions within HR to create a unified working method within the entire HR at SMT.
This role reports to, and is in close collaboration with, Vice President & Head of Employee Experience. You will be based in Sandviken or other SMT location in Sweden.
Your Profile
We are looking for an HR professional with an extensive and proven track record from employee engagement and diversity, equality & Inclusion, who has been working strategically and operationally in a global environment for several years. It´s also an advantage if you have previous experience within employer branding or talent acquisition, as these are closely related to employee engagement. You are a project manager, used to navigating in a decentralized organization with cross-functional collaborations and in close contact with managers and HR. You are also comfortable in presenting your case and we see that you are interested in new digital solutions.
Your way of working is structured, pragmatic and innovative, and you capture opportunities without losing track of our direction. With a strategic view, you support business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives. You collaborate and make people around you grow and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices. We see it as a merit that you worked in a production-heavy business before.
Since more than half of our employees are based in Sweden but we act in a global setting, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing.
