You now have a great opportunity to join our HR team in Sweden as the Employee Relations specialist for Sick-leave and Rehabilitation. You are working closely with stakeholders, local and global managers and you are being a part of the Sweden ER Organisational Health and Rehabilitation Team.

The role will be based at our manufacturing site in Södertälje, one of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturing units.

What you will do



In the role as Employee Relations Specialist you are an HR professional and will work within Sick-leave Process and Rehabilitation Process.

The main area is the Sick leave and Rehabilitation Process where you are the specialist. Together with the team you are responsible for the provision of consultancy services on the Sickleave and Rehabilitation process. You work independently and provide qualified advice and coaching to line managers in Sweden as well as Global line managers with employees in Sweden. Here you will be able to use your knowledge within basic rights, obligations and legislations of employers and employees aligned with the contract of employment. As well as using your ability to combine structure and empathy.

You have an important role in creating conditions for a standardized and efficient way of working throughout the selected processes. You are a senior employee who are guiding and educating line managers.

Typical accountabilities will include

* Operate independently and own case resolution, consider risks (legal, financial and reputational) and take decisions regarding appropriate approaches for solutions
* Develop relationships with manager to provide employment relations advice. Acts as a strategic advisor to business leaders within the selected processes
* Work collaboratively with specialists, business leaders and other stakeholders
* Facilitate and develop training programs to up skill business leaders, line managers, HR professionals and others in the selected processes
* Innovate and develop best practice in how to handle short term sickness



Essential for the role

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar
* Several years' experience of qualified work within Rehabilitation and Sickleave Process
* Documented experience from leading complex human resources cases
* Extensive knowledge of employment law, work environment law
* Experience in designing processes and implementing new ways of working
* Strategical and Analytical thinking within selected processes
* Good problem-solving ability and a pragmatic and solution-oriented attitude, while adopting equivalent Swedish legislation.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Good written and verbal communication in Swedish and English.
