Energy Balance Controller

Fortum is a leading energy company in the Nordic countries and the other parts of the Baltic Rim.Fortum's activities cover the generation, distribution and sale of electricity and heat, the operation and maintenance of power plants as well as energy-related services.The main products are electricity, heat and steam.Energy Balance Controller[ Electricity Solutions and Distribution Division is responsible for Fortum's electricity sales, solutions and distribution activities in regional and distribution networks.Revenue and Risk Management (RRM) is a strategic core function with the main focus to supervise distribution revenues.[ Your role[ We are looking for an Energy Balance Controller to join our team as soon as possible.The position is located in Stockholm.[ As Energy Balance Controller you will calculate volume shares by supplier and grid losses and analyse total monthly energy balance, sales and direct cost items.You will also perform forecasts and control of sales and direct cost items, support hedging and purchase of distribution losses according to risk policy as well as work with process and system improvements to enhance performance and quality.[ Your tasks also include reporting to and maintaining a good dialogue with external and internal stakeholders according to requirements, verification of data quality with source owners and review as well as approval of invoices according to responsibility.[ We offer you[ You will be a key part of a professional Nordic team during a very interesting time of change.In addition, you will maintain a close dialogue with business control, other strategic functions and external parties.[ We offer opportunities to grow and develop your skills and knowledge and give you interesting challenges in an international environment.[ Your qualifications[ We are looking for a person with a university degree within business, technology, energy and/or IT.You have good analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to see the big picture.You are structured, take ownership and are able to drive improvements independently.Additionally, you have experience from accounting, maintain high quality standards and know how to build strong relations.Interest in and knowledge of systems and data management is to your advantage.You are also fluent in English.[ Interested?Please send your application via our online recruitment system www.assessio.se/rekrytering no later than 25 May via.
