Vestas Northern and Central Europe (NCE) is a sales business unit responsible for sales project, installation, and service of wind farms throughout the NCE regions. The Service Department at the Malmö office is responsible for service, service sales and maintenance of the wind turbines within Sweden. The Energy Control Coordinator team are part of the Service Department Sweden and act as the role models for energy safety work, supporting colleagues by instructing and delivering High- and Low voltage inspections as well as High Voltage Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting on our wind turbine generators. We are now strengthening our ECC team and are looking for an Energy Control Coordinator.
Responsibilities
The role is a combination of field work as well as administrating and carrying out the Electrical Safety/Control of Hazardous Energy program in the company. Further, the role holder acts as a professional and is the extended arm of the Electrical Safety Lead, ESL, out in the field.
Main tasks for the position are:
Point of contact for competence giving professional directives regarding hazardous energy questions related to electrical safety and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out)
Perform HV/LV walkdowns and periodical inspections, new site energizations and troubleshooting on all wind turbine generator models
Work right under the ESL to perform electric installation work, and potentially be nominated as the person in control of specific electrical installations
Support international ESL’s and ECC’s
Investigate and improve technical solutions, incidents, and accidents regarding technical solutions
Perform electrical training of technicians (both in-classroom and on-site trainings)
Qualifications
Skilled electrical professional with a minimum of two years’ relevant industry experience
Formal electrotechnical education
Good English skills (corporate language), both written and verbal
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work at heights
Knowledge of EN50110, ELSÄK and other relevant national standards. National authorization is an asset
Experience with HV/LV equipment and testing tools (Omicron or Sverker) is a merit
Competencies
A significant understanding of and commitment to the highest standard of safety awareness in the work environment
Disciplined, focused and well-organized
Ability to analyse risks, handle and avoid hazardous energy situations that can occur in a wind turbine
Easily navigates between teamwork and individual tasks
Previous presentation skills and a willingness to teach/train and present to colleagues

Additional information
Work location is flexible and will be at one of our warehouses around Sweden. The team is working on a 2 + 1 week rotation schedule and you will be targeting the whole of Sweden, having approximately 50 percent of travelling days per month.
