At Cerner we’re working at the intersection of health and technology. We create software solutions to support clinicians and healthcare professionals in hospitals and healthcare organisations worldwide, and we are looking for an Engagement Owner to join an exciting project across Central Finland, Ostrobothnia, South Savonia and North Carelia for an integrated digital healthcare environment, replacing many existing IT systems in hospitals, primary care facilities, social care and dental. The new system includes a service to manage the health of their 0.7 million citizens and a modern digital care system that allows for increased patient participation, safer patient experience, and improved work environment for healthcare professionals.
As an Engagement Owner (EO) you will be accountable for the delivery of Cerner client projects.
You will be directing and supporting a team of associates responsible for client project objectives, influencing and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to establish and execute project objectives and cultivating external client relationships to achieve business objectives.
Your role will require creating and maintaining project plan based on contractual commitments, managing project resources, financials and scope according to project plan and contractual commitments.
You will also be managing project resources, financials, and scope according to project plan and contractual commitments. Also managing project risks and escalating as appropriate, managing project milestones and reviewing regularly with both the internal project and external client teams.
This position is based in Gothenburg and with an expectation of regular travel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of Project Management work experience
Completed 2 projects within the last 3 years using the Cerner Consulting Framework Methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
Health care information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or support work experience
A Project Management Certification, such as PMP or Prince2
Fluent English, minimum level C1
Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 100%
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of the position
